Boktai is out, anyone have it yet? thoughts, comments? This game is REALLY interesting IMO, especially with Hideo in the making of it, could be a really good concept/game.

I have it but I didn't get to play at all today because of work. Hopefully I'll play some tomorrow (even though the hurricane is gonna come on through) and I'll post some reactions.
Gonna be tough when you get to the parts where you need sunlight isn't it??Hopefully I'll play some tomorrow (even though the hurricane is gonna come on through) and I'll post some reactions.
Eh, just wait for the eye to go over...you'll have a few minutes of sunlight then
Good luck with the game, and the hurricane...

Ok I finally got a chance to play today and I am happy so far with the game. First of all I think the whole solar sensor thing is so cool and it really adds a nice element to the game. It actually does a really good job of picking up sunlight. So far I've played through two main dungeons and some smaller ones. The difficult seems average from what I've played. The dungeons play basically the same way with metal gear type exploration. They even have the ability to lean against walls and knock on them like MGS. The enemies even react the same as MGS. You can sneak by them unless you make too much noise or you are in their direct view. The puzzles are moderate so far. The ones I've done range from regular block pushing puzzles to question type ones. Also the game has an internal clock so it knows what time it really is and the game will change from night to day. While the game does recycle some gameplay elements we've all seen before, it is still a fun experience based on a cool idea.
