Default Fans of Metal Slug/Conta rejoice: CT Special Forces!

I noticed this game a while back, and while Europe has had this for a little while it's set to release in the US pretty soon. Actually the first game is set for soon and the sequel (which the pics here are from) is scheduled for Q1 2004. Check out these screens!

If those pics don't show up, check out the following link, aw hell, just go there anyway for the info! Looks like it's gonna be a great game (and at a great price, EB's site has it listed for $19.99 for first one). All pics are from part 2: Back to Hell. Just trying to raise awareness for this potentially excellent title .

Hmm...hadn't heard about this. The GBA Slug should be out soon as well. May have to actually dust my GBA off soon.

Yeah, I hope this doesn't ruin any of the series!! I could always use another run & gun shooter :-) Now only if they made Gunstar heros GBA.........hmmmm

Somehow I don't feel too interested in this one...seems pretty generic, and where's all the stuff? You know, the bursting crates, insane boss designs, funny looking people..?

I think I'd pick this up over that Metal Slug Advance. It looks like an ugly Playmore hack just like Slug 4.

Oh, surely...I'm not a fan of handheld shooters myself. In fact, I'm just not a fan of playing on handhelds in any case. Especially when I've got a SNES and Neo Geo for the real thing :P

Looks pretty to me. I haven't played a lot of my GBA as of late, but this should wake it back up.

    Default Well...

CT Special Forces looked very promising to me as well. So a while back, I bought a Euro import one online. It looks nice, but be aware that while it may look similar to Metal Slug, it plays at a much slower pace. It is quite difficult as well. (To me at least). At US$20 , it is not a bad price I guess. But don't expect non-stop blasting action. I am looking forward to the sequel however, it does have potential.
