    Default "Sealed" GBA games?

A post in Buying and Selling had me thinking. Is there such a thing as a "sealed" GBA game? It seems to me that whenever I buy them new they simply come in a cardboard box, not shrinkwrapped or sticker-sealed or anything like that. Is it just because I've been patronizing Gamestop and GameCrazy, or are they all like that?

Sounds like "yes." Every new GBA game I've bought has been factory shrinkwrapped. None of them were from GameStop/Crazy.

I've never seen a new GBA game from the US that WASN'T factory sealed. You're getting taken by Game Crazy and Gamestop. The only place I've seen "new" GBA games with no shrink is with EB's shelf copies...and I already have a thread for that complaint!

You know, I think that the few times I've bought new GBA games from those places, they were indeed the "shelf copies". And while I have a bunch of boxed complete GBA games, I'm realizing that most of them came used from ebay.

And thinking even harder, I think that I actually did take shrinkwrap off of my Worms World Party GBA cart.

There should still be horizontal seams on them too.

My copy of "Power Puff Girls: Mojo-jojo-a-go-go" is factory sealed..... but the only reason I own it's because I worked on it

Never buy any US non-shrinkwrapped game for ANY system in the US. It is not new, ever.

Also, beware of broken shrinkwrap that was slipped back on.

I know I had a factory sealed Boxxle II somewhere... here it is. Yep, boxed with the line on the back.

When I bought my most recent GBA game, Castlevania:Aria of Sorrow from Kb Toys, I asked for it, and they had no copies left, so I ended up getting the shelf copy, which was OK with me I guess, but I like to get my games in shrinkwrapping also.

The only bad part was, it was missing the plastic baggie that goes around the game, and that kinda bugs me.
