What are some Dreamcast imports I should look for and possibly get?
I'm thinking of getting Kof2k2 next time I'm in Chinatown but any others?

KOF2K2 is supposed to be very good. Other recommendeds (some of them are not my recommends):
Giant Gram 2000
Puyo Puyo 4
Cosmic Smash (this game RULES!)
Ikaruga
Border Down
Zero Gunner 2
That's all I can think of off of the top of my head. I'm sure there are a lot more English friendly ones out there

Shenmue 2 (PAL)
Stunt GP (PAL)
some other Pal games which don't come to my mind right now

Space Channel 5 part 2!!!
What's Shenmue: The Search for Yukawa
One of many dating sims if you're into them
De La Jet Set Radio LE (if you can find it -- good luck)
Frame Gride (but don't pay $200 for it like some numbnuts on Ebay)
Gundam Battle Online (offline now)
Napple Tale (ain't too bad)
Twinklestar Sprites
Vampire Chronicles for Matching Service.
The El Dorado Gate serial RPGs are interesting, but don't pay more than $20 for each volume.
Fighting Vipers 2 is worth a look if you liked the original, though not too many people did.
And if you don't mind slogging through a LOT of Japanese text, try Sakura Taisen 3 or 4. Like the rest of the series, they're decent strategy/RPGs with heavy anime and dating sim elements.
By the way, Shenmue 2 and Ikaruga were released in America for the Xbox and GameCube, respectively. If you own those systems, you might be better off with the domestic versions, as they can be found for about twenty bucks each.

Geez.. is that what that is going for now?Originally Posted by GaijinPunch

EDIT: Never mind - I see BIN's of $20 on eBay now...
Some the imports I found in Chinatown were about $20ish each too.

Good bloody gods! I had that game....had trouble selling it on eBay for $20! I traded my copy of Soukyugurentai Otokuyo for Frame Gride, M3, and Cool Cool Toon about 6 months ago, and then ended up hating alll three and selling them all. Could BARELY get rid of Frame Gride or M3.....where are these morons when I'M selling!!!! *sob*Originally Posted by GaijinPunch

Didn't you get it from me, Max?
There was someone that posted one on Ebay, back when DC imports were banned, and said there were only 1500 of that game printed, which was total bullshit. It runs $10-$15 here, and should be $15-$20 in the states... which I think it's worth. It's a fun game.
El Dorado's Gate is interesting. The first two volumes are cheap - the rest I don't know, b/c they're nowhere to be found... even hard to come by here, for games that are so new.
Go to UGTZ and do a search -- they're very wanted, but not available besdies 1-2.
geez, those prices!!

I began compiling a list of import Dreamcast titles that are OK for people who don't know Japanese, perhaps you've seen it.

The list is far from complete, I'm sure - so if anyone has anything to add to it, please do!
