the first link, deciphers the techical jargon a little bit, from the official legal notice. basically, this is how i see things goin' down. this one dude, LOUIS DeGRADI, took KBToys to court, because of how KBT marked it's prices. Let's say, a game sells MSRP $49.99, and that price is everywhere, no sales, no nothin'. KBT goes and makes a price that is, let's say $59.99. Then they put a big black X over that price, and hand write the price of $49.99, making it look like the game was reduced by KBToys. this dude saw that, and decided to do something pretty brave, and took these foo's to court.

so now, KBT has to mark of 30% off sales over $30 during the 8th to the 14th

It seems it's not applicable to video games. :/ This is from the "Cheap-Ass Gamer" forums, for what it's worth.

I emailed the attorney yesterday, and this is his exact reply!!!!
Thank you for your inquiry about the products subject to the discount.
    From KB's attorneys:
    The qualifications are as follows:

Excludes Gift Cards, Video Now products, video games, systems and
accessories. Discounts taken off lowest ticketed prices at register.
Sales taxes are not valid toward the $30 purchase requirement. Not valid
    toward previous purchases.

    Thank you for your inquiry.
I trust this answers your question.
Please feel free to email again with any other questions.
