    Default INTV Spiker!

So eBay was having one of their 0.10 fixed price listing days the other day and I decide to put up my CIB copy of Spiker! for the Intellivision. I've been planning on selling off my collection for a while. Anyway, I put it up for $500 and it sold within a hour and the buyer paid immediately. Is it really worth that much? I figured I'd get maybe $250 in a regular auction. I know it's the hardest title to get, but I didn't think I'd get a buyer at that price.

To the winner of the auction it is. Timing is everything, you lucked out.

It's not the hardest title to get IMO, although it was the final release (that and Stadium Mud Buggies). Congo Bongo and a few others are at least as difficult to find, if not more so.
Selling collection, Atari through XBox. Send a PM with whatever games you're looking for.

CIB I could see it selling for that much to the right guy. As said before, it's all about timing. You probably got lucky and found the guy who needed that one game to finish his collection and was willing to pay more to get it done.

Well, didn't one sell for over a grand (a complete one) not too long ago? I seem to recall that.
Its usually the last game that people need to finish their collection, and the box is freaking hard as hell to find. I have the cart and the manual, but there's no way I'm ever getting a box.

One was on eBay a few weeks ago for $1200, but I don't think it sold.

It was longer than that. Something like 6 months ago. I think 2 people drove the price up a lot because they (I'm sure) both needed it to complete their collection.
