Default give me a little buying advice...

my friend is wanting to get rid of his Gamecube... i know what he's asking is a really good deal, but i already have a cube. should i buy it from him for the games and sell the cube? keep the second cube and maybe get some LAN action going for Mario kart? here's what he's got... for $150.

Platinum Gamecube w/ 1 standard controller
    1 gray Wavebird controller
    1 memory card 251

    Mario Kart
    Mario Golf
    Mario Sunshine
    Mario Party 5
    Zelda Collector's Disk
Star Wars Rebel Strike DEMO disk

Its not that bad of deal, even though youll only get around 60-75 for a GCN now. The games together may be worth that so i would say pick it up and sell the cube. Its always good to have an extra wavebird also.

Definitely take it provided you don't have any of those games.

Having a backup system is always nice, but look at it this way:

    Mario Kart: $40
    Mario Golf: $30
    Mario Sunshine: $20
    Mario Party 5: $30
    Zelda Disc: $20.

You're almost up to $150 before counting the system and accessories.

yeah, of those games, i only have the zelda disk, so it's a pretty good deal in that respect. i REALLY want mario kart... it's the limited edition with bonus disk too.

I'd go for it, and then pass the cube off on someone.

Go for it. Its a good deal on a great bundle. If you already have a Platinum Cube you can sell the cube and keep the controller so you can work on a set of 4 platinum controllers. (I love having a Platinum set...4 controllers, cube, gb player, wavebird, gba, gbasp, gb pocket) all the platinum looks nice together. plus the games will be fun. and you will get an extra memory card which is always a plus.

Hell yeah. I'd go for it, considering I bought a Cube two days after launch with nothing.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

I definitely would do that! Having a second cube for free would rock! All those games are awesome!
