    Alright my best three finds.....

One time I bought a saturn lot from craiglist for 20 bucks and came with house of the dead that's supposed to be rare or something....

Another time I bought a CDX for 10 bucks from a thrift store....

Last time I bought a top loader nes for 10 bucks with 2 rare saturn RPGs as well......

umm I know I had other great finds but these are the ones I remember the most.

    - 4-switch Atari 2600 with about 15 common titles for $15 at a pawn shop.

    - 20 5200 and Genesis games for $12 at an Old Threshers flea market.

    - Boxed Odyssey2 with 4 complete games for $15 at a flea market.

Honorable mention: Loose Halo Edition Xbox for $50 at a flea market.

Not really that great of finds, but still good bargains.

My best finds are as follows.

    (in no particular order)

#1 a Virtual Boy with four games including mario's tennis, red alarm, panic bomber and galactic pinball for $15.

#2 Atari Lynx model 1 with four games including california games, qix, blue lightning and rampage for $10.

#3 Panisonic 3DO FZ-1 with a extra controller in the box and nine games that i don't think are worth listing for $45 (it's not a great deal but i was very pleased with the purchase great system).

honorable mentions: mint cart only EarthBound $3.30 and complete Marvel vs. Capcom 2 DC $2.

Not much compared to most of you but i'm happy with my finds.

I don't have very many awesome finds... actually, I only have ONE:

Going to the pawnshop and finding a GBC set complete with the system, a worm light, car charger, headphones, and link cable, all in the same shade of atomic purple... along with an official travel case AND a pretty good game (Pokemon Pinball) - all for $12.

And I ended up getting it all for free because the crappy DVDs I traded in just happened to add up to more than $12!

I have found a loose Atari Jag w/CD for 8 bucks. Worked great.
A blue debug PS1 for 10 bucks. Worked great as well.
A CIB Sega Master System for 15 bucks. This was like going back in time.

I haven't been collecting long enough, but the best I've had off a non-auction website was a boxed copy of Adventure Island (with manual and cart in pristine condition) for five dollars.

--JVC X'eye for $10 at a rummage sale. Kicking myself for getting rid of this.

--Ehrgeiz, not sealed but with the top label still intact, cart only MMX3, sealed Military Madness Nectaris PS1, some sealed N64 games, and a bunch of other stuff that I'm forgetting, all for around $40-50. Bonus: went back to the same store a week later and they had a fully sealed copy of Ehrgeiz! what the hell are the chances...I guess some closing game store had (foolishly) brought all their stock to this pawn shop.

--about 15 copies of Resident Evil Code Veronica for the Gamecube on clearance for $10 a piece at a ShopKo store.

    MK3 SNES prototype cart $1

    M2 Dev/Test unit $45

23 complete PC Engine games including Magical Chase $40

While all these might not be great deals, they're my most important finds.

    1. Donkey Kong Arcade Cocktail. I've brought this up many times and I started a thread last year about it. It got me excited about arcades again, and got me collecting those sorts of games. I found it at a thrift shop for $250 but was able to get it for $150. It's a little unfortunate that more around here aren't into arcades as much as consoles- but it's understandable.

    2. TG-16. It took me a whole to find one of these. The wait paid off and I purchased it for $10 at a Goodwill Computer Works. I don't have a lot of games for it, so I don't play it that often, but I'm glad I have it and don't plan on getting rid of it.

    3. Chavez II for the SNES boxed ($8). It's the rarest game i own, which is the only reason I'm including it in here. I have doubts to it being an R8, but it'll stay up here until I find something rarer.

    Bubble Bath Babes - $20
    X'Eye with hacked up PSU - $20
A bunch of rare Sega CD games - $20

Seems like $20 is the magic number.

    I call bullshit.

-5 copies of Super Tempo (Saturn), one was NIB, for $5 each.
-fully functional PC Engine Duo for $4 (controller, power and AV cables were $3 each, so $13 total)
-Neo Geo AES complete in box for $30 with an extra joystick, fully functional

-runners up: Sega SG-1000 and Sega Mark III (no controllers, no hook-ups for either and both a bit scratched, but not too badly) for $5 each

i dunno, looking at his past posts he seems legit about it.

3 that come to mind for me:

    1. Sonic adventure limited edition, disc only for $5. I bought it in a greatest hits case at Gamecrazy many years ago so I didn't realize it for a while. It's probably my rarest game so it's pretty special to me.

    2. Secret of Mana complete in box for around $10 at another Gamecrazy too. it came with all the extra flier crap and everything, I was impressed.

    3. over 60 random loose atari games in a box. nothing too special, a couple R6's I think, but it was a once in a lifetime massive catch
And don't bring up that stupid girlie Aladdin rip off! Shantea?

I have yet to have any GREAT finds, as I'm pretty new to collecting, but finding old favorites I've completely forgotten about is always fun, here's 3 I can think of:

    1. Sunset Riders (I talk about this game all the damned time, but it's because I've just recently rediscovered it, having completely lost it a decade and a half ago...)
    2. Rocket Knight Adventures
    3. Chrono Trigger - Not one I'd ever forgotten, but I got a pretty mint-looking cart, still in the box, that I was pretty excited to find.

EDIT: Today a guy at work showed up in my office with a shoebox overflowing with NES/SNES carts, some of the more prestigious titles including: Final Fantasy III, Diddy's Kong Quest, Battletoads, Double Dragon 1-3, among about 15 others - $50!

    I have to say

Receiving Snatcher for Sega CD complete with 40+ games 5 NES games and SEGA CD for only 40. Marvel vs Capcom 2 for only 10 when it still was 100 on PS2.
