You need a Super Famicom (two words) or a convertor...I'd go with a convertor, personally. On the bright side, hey, I don't have one either :P

Now, top 10 imports? Hmm...gonna have to step way back on this one, 'cuz I've been paying more attention to the MD and x68K recently.

Actually, I play SFC game on my SNES all the time.
It's very very simple really but it requires a very small bit of "modding".
All you need is a pair of needle-nose pliars.
If you look at any normal US relesed SNES cart, you'll know that there are two little notches cut out of the back on the bottom. This of course will allow it to fit over the small plastic.....um....things in the system next to the connectors.
Can't speak for UK games, but Japanese game do not have the notches.
All you have to do is remove the plastic things from inside the SNES with some needle-nose pliars. It's easy, takes about 3 minutes, and when you are finished, you have a system that will play domestic SNES games as well as imported Super Famicom Games.

Take a look at this pic for proof.

Which is exactly what I did...

As for top SFC imports, it's hard to think of great games that didn't come out in the US or UK. A few good ones that spring to mind include:

    Dezaemon
    Ranma 1/2 Hard Battle
    Super Mario Picross
    Mario & Wario
    Rockman & Forte

    Front Mission
    Front Mission Gun Hazard

The two first in Square's mech-themed tactics games. Menus are in english so its easy to play without knowledge of Japanese.

I use a modified game genie to play SFC games (ie, I used a pair of pliers to rip off the plastic tabs that were in the way). You can also take the tabs directly out of your snes, but I am too lazy to do that. If you have a pal snes, you need a converter...

Anyways, my top import was Umihara Kawase (Sea Belly River Back). I spent $60 to import it. Others that I will get include Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius (a parody of Gradius and Pop n' Twinbee) and Rockman and Forte.
<Evan_G> i keep my games in an inaccessable crate where i can't play them

One game in particular that I've always liked was Bahamut Lagoon.
Great game with nice graphics and a killer soundtrack.
