Anyone remember that ill fated "Cyplex" game show?
It was going to revolve around finding video game players from all across the world, competing in head to head or versus AIs to try and achieve the highest scores.
The website used to be cyplex.tv, but that's gone now.
If I remember correctly, the site was brought up sometime near the end of 2002/beginning of 2003 but ultimately, nothing ever came of it and the domain is now in limbo.
When you log on to cyplex.tv, it brings you to some horridly generic 'search engine' page which seems to be rampant when an old domain goes belly up.
I registered for this game show to become a contestant and even got an automated response from them, stating that they would contact me once things got rolling.
Apparently, the ball was never even brought around to roll. lol
Damn, that would have been fun to be a contestant.
