Yes..my Uncle does..
He usually only finds Empty DVD cases..in new condition..
He has several hundred of them now..
I don't see any market for them on EBay so he's storing them until I figure what to do with them and the rest that he gets..
I knew a guy who used to bring me stuff he found dumpster diving behind Gamestop. He found a working ps1 once, some demos, mostly just a bunch of crap though. Most of the time he'd find Genesis games with absolutely terrible labels (usually Sonic 1 or 2). It was always a question on whether or not the stuff would actually work also.
Be excellent to one another. Party on dudes!
speaking of the dvd cases thing...why exactly do they switch out every single dvd case with their own?
i just bougt a couple of gcn games from them and 2 of the 3 games are in standard blockbuster dvd cases...why bother replacing them all? wouldn't it be easier and save money to use the ones taht come with it?
As far as the PS2/Xbox are concerned...it's so they can place the security label tabs in the BB boxes....
The GC boxes have the slots already...so I guess it's so they can show that it really was their's should someone try to steal it?
Dunno. <Shrug>

No and no. Distribution sends them to us in the standard lockable blockbuster amorays, and when we sell them it's easiest to just take the rental insert out and put in the games cover insert. Price it, lock it, put it out, yay.Originally Posted by whoisKeel
If you want to, next time you buy a game from there (we've got a buy 2 get 1 on the ppg's going right now), just ask for a legit gamecube/xbox/ps2 case with it. They should have stacks of them laying around for coverbox purposes anyways.
As for dumpster diving behind blockbuster, don't bother. Never gonna find anything worthwhile, maybe some empty dvd cases, and possibly some destroyed VHS tapes. Nothing else.
I've never Dumpster Dived. But now I'm tempted to. There are a lot of places I could do it.
But I'd be afraid of being caught, and even if I got away, fingered by someone who recognized me or something.
Maybe in the Summer I'll see about doing some Diving of my own.
You guys are lucky you even have a BlockBuster!
Me and Gnarkill are stuck with nothing
What's up with Natalie's sweater? It looks like she was naked and the sweater photoshopped in? (confused)

Blockbuster doesn't have alot of gaming stuff (the one near me). If you are gunna dumpster dive GameStop is the place. I go like once a week. Find some cool promos and stuff.
Somebody make me a "CGE 2k7 Attendee banner" so I don't have to use this lame text
If it helps, it was photographed for a French magazine. You know the French and their crazy clothing styles no one actually wears in public.Originally Posted by superstonic
