Whats are best video game things you have ever found at a swap, thrift, or a trade and resold for @X,#X or even more than what you bought it for. Mine would be a:

-Super Mario Rpg bought for $3 sold for $26
-or FF1 bought for $1 sold for $12
What i need: SNES games and a few 32x!

I bought Ultima 4 for the Atari XE whatever for $2. I got home and took a closer look at the contents and there were a couple of bonuses in it. An Ultima 7 CD and an Ultima 2 cloth map. I sold the cloth map for $38.

I paid $5 for Sierra's Gold Rush and sold it for $103

Not game related but I paid $3 for Arnolds Pumping Iron documentary 4 years ago and sold it for $100. You can do well selling videos on eBay. That is if you know what to sell and you only need to use eBay itself as a research tool.

What game were with that intellivision?? They usually don't sell well at all. If it was 21 common games it would only be about $30-40 for the whole setup. You must have a proto in there.

    Forgot to post my stuff.

Best video game find I resold. A Vectrex w/ 2 controllers, 10 boxed and complete games and a boxed complete light pen.

Paid $10 at a garage sale for all. (same garage sale got a top loader nes and SMS for $10 each. My best find ever )

Sold the whole vectrex lot piece by piece for around $600.
Also sold the Top loader and SMS for over $125.

Before you guys kill me about selling all this stuff off, I needed the money at the time.

    Default hmm

    tricky one.

Perhaps the White Saturn lot that I bought for $200 ..

Sold Metal Slug (no manual) for £50 when I upgraded to a complete one.

Sold the White Saturn (loose) for £250

Sold other bits and pieces from the same lot for about another £50 - £60.

    That's a total of about $600.

Or there was Night Trap 32X CD (PAL) - bought for £3. Sold for £46.

There's another more recent one that blows them out the water .. but I' m keeping that to myself for the mo .. although someone who examines my ebay feedback and recently sold items very carefully could probably figure it out ....

Hmmm...I've had lots of small finds that I've turned profits on.

Xenogears. Paid $8 sold for $30
Valkeryie Profile. Paid $4 sold for $32
    Lunar 1. Paid $8 sold for $35

All those were found at the same time. My greatest profits would probably be.

    Suikoden 2. Paid $8 sold for $82.
Megaman X3 (SNES) Complete. Paid $5 sold for $160.

I don't keep track of em all, but
    60 arcade units...bought for $550, sold for $10,000.

That one always sticks in my head. I'm sure there's lots of "Buy for $1-10, Sell for $50-500s" I can't remember. Case in point:

Atario 5200 lot (2 systems, Wico Command Control joystick/keypad, stack of games, more) - bought for $3, sold for $300. It's a neverending list.

Nope, but about 10 of the games were mint complete. Not all of them were common but there wasn't anything spectacular. The complete games garnered most of the cash, while the system with 11 loose carts sold for about 75. It was piecemeal selling but all in all I did well

A few months ago, I found Kings Quest Collection for PC at a pawn for $5 and sold it on ebay for $150.

The same day I found a huge Virtual Boy collection at Goodwill. Came with the blockbuster hard case and several boxed games including Jack Bros. ended up putting it on ebay along with some extra boxed games I had and sold it for $350.

Found a loos Glib cart for 2600 at a thrift for $0.50 and sold it for $125 on ebay.

I found an Astrocade at a thrift store for $4.94 with no controllers or top cover and sold it on eBay for $151. I expected about $15 - $20 at the most.
