Default Question on modding a NeoGeo Pocket Color with Afterburner

Anyone mod their NGPC with the Afterburner backlight? Just wondering if its worth it, how hard it is and if there are any FAQs or instructions out there on how to do it.

They practically do grow on trees. There's always a boat load of them up for sale on ebay for $30 or less.

Anyways, anyone here try the afterburner on it?

It's not really that hard. But there's not a Faq on it anywhere that I know of.

You have to cut a little bit of plastic , but it's far less than you have to cut on the GBA , and it's much easierto do.

And then it's just a matter of deciding where to put the Afterburner screen. I personally put mine in with it sort of centered so it left a slight unlit spot at the top and bottom that was hardly noticeable.

And then you have to use a meter and connect to a good power spot on the board that is 3-3.4 volts. And use the resistor from the afterburner kit or you will get serious flicker.
