Someone told me there is a way to aquire parts to build an Odyssey to play Pong. I checked out Sanders Associates' site and the Magnavox site, but I can't figure out where to look to buy the original parts!

You seem to be confused, on several levels.
EDIT: I'm kicking this over to the general Video Game Forum. I don't think Prototype Central's going to be of any help, dude.
Could you be referring to all the blueprints, "exploded views," etc. on David Winter's excellent Pong-Story site?
I'm pretty sure all you need are assorted transistors, caps, resistors, pots and wiring.
Arranged correctly of course.
The Oddysey was hard wired (chip free), so that oughta do it.

Look for a book called "How to Design & Build Your Own Custom TV Games" by Heisemann (TAB Books, though I think another publisher did a printing too). It doesn't deal with just Pong games, but it deals with building your own hardware from the ground up.
