Neo Geo Pocket Color is the best Portable.

If you're into fighters I HIGHLY suggest Match of the Millenium, Last Blade, and/or KOF R2 or R1 if you can find it

For RPGs, there's not many, but there is Biomotor Unitron, a neat Robot game, Dark Arms, a Zelda type game, where you kill zombies and things, Faselei! a GREAT mech-fighter strategy game, and Evolution, the EXTREMELY Rare RPG game. Also I HIGHLY suggest Card Fighters Clash, for extremely addictive card gaming.

For Puzzles, there's Picture Puzzle, a very addictive puzzle game, Bubble Bobble/Bust a Move, and Puzzle Link 1 or 2.

Sports game, Neo Turf Masters for golf, Neo Geo Cup '98 Plus for soccer, and any baseball game, I would say, because I can't really tell the difference.

Some games you would want to stay away from are:
Any Casino type game, like Dragons Wild
And Aruze game, because it's all Crap and Pachinko
and the Dive Alert games, they suck and bore you to death

    Hope this helps.

No problem. Just in case you didn't see, I edited it and added Puzzle games and Card Fighters Clash, but because of the extremely slow editing system, it didn't make it in time.

About 99% of all the releases. HIGHLY RECOMEND Metal SLug 1st and 2nd Mission, Sonic's Pocket Adventure, The Last Blade: Beyond the Destiny, Ogre Battle Gaiden: Prince of Zenobia, and Match of the Millenium: SNK Vs. Capcom.

    DOH!
How could I have forgotten the Metal Slugs and Sonic?
    All great games.

Also, if you're a shooter fan, Cotton's a good game, although youll have to cough up a lot of money for it.

I have played it. I wouldn't suggest getting it, unless you're a REALLY BIG Mega Man Fan. In this case, I'm guessing you are, so if you can find it for 20-40 bucks, I suggest you buy it.

Anyway, you get to pick from four people, Mega Man, Bass, Proto Man, and that big really strong guy that I forgot his name. Anyway, it's basically a fighting game. A really hard fighting game. It's pretty much impossible, for me atleast, to beat any stage without using the big strong guy. Anyway, I'd get it if I could, nice and minty complete, for 20 bucks, unfortunately I can't right now. If I had it, I'd give you a lot more info, but alas, I don't and can't. But I hope this helps, and ask me anything else you want.

I agree with Jenny Island. The majority of the NGPC’s library is excellent (the consensus amongst some of my co-workers/friends, before the GBA, was that if GBC/GB didn’t have the huge library…and the ten year legacy…NGPC would have been, hands down, the better handheld). If I had to pick one game out of the crop, Card Fighters Clash easily got the most play time in my NGPC (and still does). One of those “obsessively play everywhere, including while sitting at a stop light while driving to work” handheld titles.

If you like classic games you need Ganbare Neopoke-kun. Virtual pet parody with lots of mini games that are sort of a mini recap of the evolution in videogames. They starts out with pong variations and then get more and more advanced. Many of them are parodies of classic games such as Xevious, Star Wars arcade game (done in vector graphics of course), Kungfu Master, Ghosts 'n Goblins, Dragon Quest, Bomberman, etc. There are also some more normal games like breaking up fights between nude men in a bath house.

No japanese language skills needed to play the it.

Heh, I think it's actually really easy (as was the arcade games it's a conversion of). It's ok but I was a bit dissapointed with the music sellection, it's missing a boatload of tunes compared to the arcade games.

AH! I keep forgetting such good games!!

    Ganbare ROCKS!
It's so cool. What KJN said really is what the game is, so if I were you, I'd get this game too. If you don't like it, you could always give it to me

Although I haven't played that many games on it, the NGPC is still easily my favourite handheld. One of my best purchases. Favourite games would definitely be King of Fighters R-2 and Neo Turf Masters.

What's this about Evolution? Is is a port of the same RPG that can be found on the GC and Dreamcast?
