I should have known somebody would slam poor Drakkhen. I think Drakkhen is a great game...it was the reason I bought a Super Nintendo, considering that at the time its only competition was the 3 launch titles and Bill Lambeer's Combat Basketball.Drakhen

Drakkhen is really creepy, and that's its greatest feature. The gameplay is decent, especially for the time. The atmospheres it creates using lighting and music/sounds is quite convincing. One would appreciate this game more if they treated it like watching a movie or listening to a record.
Oh, and whoever said Pit Fighter--right on. That game is an unforgiveable turd. Compare it to the Genesis version and you'll laugh even harder at it.
Mario Kart is still super cool to this day the gameplay is amazing and the battle mode was the sh*t!!
I like the N64 re-incarnation too, but it never seemed fast enough, the tracks seemed slow i was a tiny bit let down, to this day Mario Kart Snes version is still the best!
When i bought SMK N64 i expected the whole snes engine (w/ extra's) and have the cool N64 graphics, lets say i just got the graphics.
In the end it's still a sweet game (n64 Mario Kart) and very enjoyable but i feel it could have been so much more.
Also here is a few more games that shouldn't have made the grade :
1. Lester the Unlikely hero
2. Lamborghini American Challenge
3. James Bond Jnr
4. Pink goes to hollywood
5. Tom and Jerry
6. Race Drivin'
7. Raiden Trad
8. Street Combat
9. Skuljagger
I could go on and on!! i hear so many people today moan about PS2 / XBOX / GC games, but give them a taste of some of the 90's gaming sh*t and they'll be begging for there next gen consoles / Games in a heart beat!!
..XS
Bah... I found the game to be pretty craptacular myself, although I didn't have the benefiet of playing the game when it was first released (although I love older games so I really don't see why I would have liked it any better 10 years ago), but if it's any consolation I loved Dragon View (Drakkhen's sequal).Originally Posted by Graham Mitchell

I'm sure I could think of more, funny how so many people spit on the Genesis library when the SNES had its fair share of turds.
I might be alone in this, but I really hate pilotwings. I really liked the N64 one though. Gunforce is also terrible. It's like contra or metal slug if you took out everything that made those games fun.
"First, we have aspirin. A common cure for things that aspirin cures. Leads to.....rabies."
I'm sure I have played tons of crappy snes games, I just can't think of one now. One that does come o mind, though, is Axelay. I really don't like the game, considering it's so hard, although I'd probably like it more if I was batter at it.
Also, SOM is a great game. The AI for your allies may suck, but a good game, nonetheless. Also, Super Mario Kart is fun, and the N64 version was crap compared to it. I never really liked the N64 version that much, and I'd take the 2D graphics than the 3D graphics any day. Lastly, Drakkhen is afun, but I have no idea what in the world I am supposed to do. the battle system is neat, and the way you get from place to place, and the fact that you can run into trres and water and stuff is quite neat. The only thing I don't like is the annoying sounds the enemies give and that you can't control your guys during a battle.
Super Soccer... "what a shitload of fuck"
GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY NINTENDO!
I loved Pit Fighter in the arcades. Never played the SNES version, but I doubt I ever will having heard this.
Worst I've played or seen played were Space Ace and Batman Forever. I don't even want to try and remember these garbage games.
So much arguing over the different Mario Kart games, sigh....the SNES original doesn't hold up well as being worthwhile against its successors, but that doesn't mean it belongs in a 'worst of SNES' thread....
Just to throw in though, I get my MK fix from the DS version. The controls handle well, there are a bunch of new tracks AND a 'retro circuit' with prior games' tracks remade, I'm pretty sure no other game had the amusing Blooper weapon, very decent graphics, multiple karts to choose for each character, you can easily unlock Dry Bones as a playable character, and with some effort I know there are a bunch of other extras...all this, and it supports up to EIGHT players! Hell yeah! There's even a 'download play' mode (non-DS owners, yes, the 'everyone needs a copy' problem from old linkable portable games has been fixed) that limits the available tracks and forces people without the cart to play as a Shyguy, but still good fun!
Besides, you can play it outside....or a diner....or if you show up too early for a movie and have to sit through the commercials-and-BS 'MovieWatcher Network' crap before the trailers...or waiting on the endless registration line at Otakon (okay, falls under outside)...blah blah blah blah.....
TL;DR- Mario Kart DS is pure win
Final Fantasy 2 and 3, Chrono Trigger, any Donkey Kong Country or street fighter port.
Chrono Trigger is just really overrated IMO.
As for the worst, hands down gotta go with Ultraman, Shaq-Fu, and Mario: Fun with Numbers.
I actually got suckered into buying the last one for $12 because I thought it was rare. Turns out the guy I bought it off of was one of those overpriced game sellers who's there every week with like two tons of SNES games selling them at eBay prices. Super Mario RPG $60? GTFO of the flea market.
Hey Punk! Are You Tuff E Nuff?
I just remember the name more than the gameplay. I rented it and dismissed it very quickly.
The Wizard of Oz is probably the worst game I ever played on the SNES.
Pit Fighter on SNES.
That is all.
Bebes Kids and Mortal Kombat. Mortal Kombat in my opinion, is the only game that is a failure without blood or graphics
Mention must go to street combat. Not only is the Ranma 1/2 game it's based off of already a pretty poor street fighter clone, the over-americanization of all the characters and stripping the playable cast down to two makes a previously passable game awful.
Monopoly. Thats all I'm going to say.
What bothered me about SNES SMK in particular is the flatness of the objects that shouldn't be flat on the courses like the green pipes for instance. An to be (un)fair, I played Mario Kart 64 for around six months in a dorm room environment with almost always at least three players. It replaced Teevee that semester!Originally Posted by Predatorxs
