It just, well, stopped working. I'm currently planning on getting the key copied and trying that...if that doesn't work is there any other option for me?

Drill it. Those locks are cheap and easy to replace.
Hmmm, where can I get a replacement lock at? Also, what kind of drill, etc etc...im VERY new to this so if you have any more info for me it would be great.
A handheld drill with a reasonbly sized drill bit would be fine, though make sure you get one that can drill metal. You can get replacement locks online or at a local hardware store or big orange behemoth.
Nice, sounds good, lemme see what happens when I get the key copied and then I will give it a shot.
Ummm, btw, what's "Big Orange Behemoth"?
The giant orange home improvement chain whose name I shall not utter in a public forum for fear of being stoned.

I assume since you have the key for the coin door that you can also open the back of the machine. Just reach through with a long extension and a ratchet and remove the nut from the coin door lock if you are able to get to it. That will let you take the little piece of metal that flips over to catch behind the edge off. Sometimes the layout of the machine doesn't allow it tho. Run to a home improvement center (your choice) and buy a cabinet lock to replace it.
