Default Anyone get the Action Replay Max Evo yet?

Did anyone pick this thing up yet? I'm really curious how the Genesis/MegaDrive emulator works with it. I want to get one if it's decent.

I haven't but am also very interested. I imagine it just loads the emulator and you supply a CDr with ROMS which would be great since I have all of them. Strange I could just as easily play them perfectly on PC but there is just something cool about playing old console games on modern consoles. Anyway, yeah if anyone has checked it out please share your comments/experiences/opinions thanks......

I ordered the Action Replay Max EVO on Sunday. I received a message on Monday stating the item was backordered. As soon as I get it and try it I will post my thoughts. I am very curious how well the Genesis emulator will work.

Very, very intriguing. With all the shady advertised bootlegging features, I can't help but wonder if it also functions as an import boot disc. ;-)

I would buy it just for import games if that were the case. The emulator would be a bonus.

Latest from their site, interesting, sounds easy enough!

So how do you get the ROMs onto your PlayStation 2? Easy! Just download them onto your PC, then burn them onto a CD-R using Action Replay MAX's MAX Media Creator. Simply drag the ROM files you want into the 'Device Compilation' window, then click on the 'Add Emulator' button to include the files your PS2 needs to recreate the Genesis. Finally, click on 'Create' to burn your disc. To play this disc on your PS2, load AR MAX and select the 'Media Player' option from the home screen. Swap the disc for your ROMs CD, and the PGEN main menu appears. The joys of Genesis emulation are yours...

Well I can already play it in my Dreamcast, but the Genesis emulator doesn't run at full speed (plays around 80%). I'm hoping this PS2 one will be much faster though. Anyone know for sure?

So, anyone get this yet? I'd really like to know how well that Genesis emulator runs.
