Default Has a game ever made you cry?

    [WARNING: BRIEF FFX-2 SPOILERS]

I just finished FFX-2 and I saw the part where Tidus puts his arms around Yuna. I didn't really cry, but a tear came into my eyes. Part of it was the fact that Tidus really did exist the whole time, but there was another part...
I was happy that the game was over, but I realized that I would never get to see Yuna, Tidus, or any other FFX characters again.

I really don't ever get this way with any other genre of games except for RPG... Chrono Trigger and SMRPG really got to me the most, but FFVII (I just finished that a few days ago) didn't bother me as I knew that I coud look forward to the upcoming movie.

Admit it... has a game ever made you cry?
    Egbert, I miss you...

Yeah, I cried at the end of Chrono Trigger, and I'm manly enough to admit it! That was one of the most touching endings ever. All the characters going back to their own time periods, never seeing each other again...so touching. Just another reason why it's my all time favorite game ever. I also got misty-eyed at the end of Mega Man X. Not really sure why though.

No game has ever made me burst out like a waterfall if that's what your saying. Though their has been times when in would get really into the characters/music ect. and get a little emotional. You know sort of when you watch a sad movie or something.

I remeber when I was 5-6, I had World of Illusion for Genesis. Both me and my brother would always play it up to the final boss, but we always died. We were SO frustrated, we even called that Sega help-line(the guy wondered how a 6 year old was able to call). Even after finding out you had to hit the magicians nose, we still couldn't do it. Eventually, we sold the game, and hadn't played it for years.

Last year, we found the game for cheap at Funcoland, we brought it home, and finally beat it. It was a great moment, cause my dad was there too, and he had the ame problem. I remember tearing up a bit.

That's the closest i've gotten to crying.

I've never straight up cryed. But I have had a trear or two before. Final Fantasy 6 made me a bit misty and I think grandia 2 made me sad, but now I don't know why. Time to start it up again!

FF10-2 is NOT shitty. Although weak in story, it's a fun, fun game. FF10-2 brought fun to battling again!

No game ever made me cry, but Yuna's imminent death made me sad (FF10), and the end of Kingdom Hearts makes me melancholy.

Ending for Lufia 2. Sure you know what happens by playing the start of Lufia 1, but there's a huge emotional attachment in the ending.

Cried from frustration as a kid when I swapped games at school for Swordquest: Earthworld. I couldnt pass the screen where you jump/ride the red moving "girders" (a la Frogger) & my oldest brother came in & said "What are you doing? I cant believe a GAME would make you cry! Maybe you should put it down!"

Also from Raiders of the Lost Ark, because I couldnt figure it out right away.

And, I admit, I ALWAYS get a bit emotional when Lisa Garland "bleeds out" near the end of Silent Hill.

Yes, Final Fantasy VI (III) has brought me to tears on many occasions. The scene where we find out about Rachel and Locke, the scene where Cyan's family is poisoned and killed, stuff like that. Infact, I was in tears last night due to the game

I didn't really cry, per se, when Final Fantasy VII was beaten, but I felt upset and empty, mainly because the ending just left me baffled, and I was kinda wishing that Aeris would come back to life.

I did, cry, however... when playing...

... okay, promise not to laugh. Ah, laugh anyway. MARIO PARTY 2.

I'm serious, I was trying to get past level 7 of the MiniGame Rollercoaster, and it was just so brutal, that I broke down into tears. Well, sure, I beat it later, but... geez... heh... erm...

The N64 just didn't have the same Ninty feel that the Nes, snes and GC have/had?? don't know why? Ohhh yeah maybe it's becuz, ninty made us wait and wait and wait... while sony took over! Doooooohhhhh

I promise i'll collect them and play them.......Some day! when i have time

The only game I can think of is Suikoden 1 for the ps1. There were a couple of different parts. -

    Major Spoilers-

The main part that got to me a little bit was when Gremio was eaten by the man-eating spores. Just the music and what he was saying to you was something else. I didn't cry, but I got a lump in my throat and I just felt horrible for Gremio, and for you (as the main character).

There were some other parts but that was the main one that really got to me.
