    Default Boxed VIC-20 find!

last Friday I picked up a boxed VIC-20 and 10 boxed games.

    the games were:

    Vic Avenger
    The Count
    Mole Attack
    Apple Panic
    Voodoo Castle
    Pirate Cove
    Renaissance
    Draw Poker
    Omega Race
    Raid on Fort Knox

the boxes were all in decent shape and most had manuals. one (Renaissance) had a pretty cool catalog with it too.

I found a shrinkwrapped Renaissance once at a flea market (after I dusted it off andcould tell what it was). Were your instructions hand typed and say "Preliminary" on them? I don't know if that's the way they sent the game out or I found something special.

not sure about "Preliminary" I'll have to check, but yes, the instructions did look hand typed. One other interesting thing that was in the VIC-20 box was a Toys r Us Computer comparison chart. It had the VIC, Adam, Atari 800 and a couple others on it.

I remember that comparison chart. Yeah, I'd like to see a scan of that as well. You got a good deal. You can also find many games on ebay for very very cheap, since I really don't think many people actually collect for the system. It is a great machine! Play some of the Scott Adams text adventures...they rule. Dragonfire for the system is really nice too.
