    Dreamcast

    -Has that "Classic" feel
    -Cheap system price
    -Cheap game price
    -Shenmue/Shenmue 2
    -Jet Grind Radio
    -Phantasy Star Online/Ver.2
    -Soul Calibur
    -Tons of other great games
    -VMU
    -Keyboard and Mouse support
    -Great Homebrew scene
    -Decent emulators
    -Online play
    -Ability to browse the internet
    -Still has very nice graphics

Just to name a few, DC is my favorite console of this generation, and probably favorite console ever.

I actually had to re-look at my previous post to see what I'd voted before, because it changes over time. My previous vote was Gamecube, if I'd've voted today it would've been PS2.

It's fun talking about favourites for the current gen but it isn't until after the generation is over and done with that I can stick with my decision.

I gotta love the Game Cube, it has the least addons for it ( I like a console to just hookup and use) and has some sweet games to boot Second would have to be the Dreamcast.
If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

I don't want to start a war or anything, but what are you talking about? What console requires you to do more than just hook it up and use?

I have more add-ons attached to my Gamecube than I have on anything else (I have the Game Boy Player...)

    Gamecube for sure!
Nintendo beats out Sony's "vacumn cleaner" any day of the week
X-box has it's gems- but Halo is hardly a mascot title
and we all know that Mario is KING!
Who else has been in over 70 games and has sold over 80 million copies of games he's been in.

i voted dreamcast, because of it's sheer multitude of peripherals. there's a keyboard, mouse, fishing controller, maracas, DDR pad, lightgun, arcade controller, and in some countries, digital camera and karaoke machine. also, you can(could) go on the internet with it, and it's got those hella cool VMU's...
i bought a keyboard and mouse just to play Quake 3, even though I own in on PC.
Is there ANY internet support a all for the DC anymore? :/

I remember when the Dreamcast was just coming out, and PS2 was soon to follow. I was hard pressed like everyone else the PS2 was going to eat the Dreamcast alive. And in a way, I was right.

Come to find out later, I was never going to be able to make $300 by the time launch of the PS2. And I was pretty upset. So, I opted for a Dreamcast. I had never seen a Dreamcast in actually play, so I was kind of whishy washy on the whole thing. I went to Toy-R-Us, and they had one on display, the demo of Sonic Adventure was playing. I saw that whale smash that bridge into pieces and from then on, I've never let anything come in the way of my Dreamcast, even more so since I just bought a VGA adapter.

Now I'm on the hunt for some of the coolest games ever. Thats why I'm here, hoping that someone will answer my call, and hook it up with something nice. My ultimate goal is to score some of those official arcade stick made by Sega. If I could get my hands on two of those, I would die happy.

DC all the way. Not only are the games beautiful and varied, but how many other consoles can you buy (for $20) that allow you to emulate without hardware mods? I mean, come on, I've got a copy of Linux running on it! How cool is that? Not to mention the future possibilities. In theory, this thing can run everything up to and including N64 and PS1 games. It's a modders dream come true.

Psx for me. It did the most for gaming out of all of those, I think. (I know that all psone games can be played on PS2, but you know what I mean.) Also, it probably has the best library of all of them even still.

Dreamcast is like the...16 bit era of 3D, if that makes any sense to anyone else. It wasn't afraid to have awesome 2D games either, which is important.

I don't think Dreamcast should be included since it's no longer supported, it's too easy of a pick.

With the DC out, then Xbox by far.

Casting aside the fact that the PS2 can play original PS1 games, I choose the Playstation as my favorite on that list.

The original Playstation had games, games, and even more games that I enjoyed playing. I could make a mile long list.
