hehe i found the coolest pirate gb game...

So i had been stackin up loads of GB games without trying them....
I decided to finally check some out, all seemed pretty good...
Then decided to try out this pirate multicart...
Mario 4 is top of the list, its a clone/sprite hack but i thought the title screen was a classic so here we go:

Do you have a Super GB or a GB player to take a better pic? You can barely see that screen. So what's the game like? Is it just a hack of another game or a pirate "original."

Man, when I saw the title of the thread, I thought you were talking about a GB game about pirates, like Pirates Gold! or something. Still, those Super Mario sprite hacks look cool. I've never played any. I should really pick up one of those grey market multi-carts.

The first one is pretty cool I haven't really delved onto the murky world of the pirate multicart but I'm going to keep my eyes open from now on! BTW: Just curious, are they literally just sprite hacks or is there hacked levels as well?

I've gto a few GB multis. One of them has a hack of Super Mario Land called Pikachu Land with pokemon characters as enemies. Another has a glitchy Sonic. One of the carts is also nothing but japanese games. I beat a platformer game on that where you dress up as animals and beat these weird bosses.
