So i was looking around and im seeing all of these great LE xbox's like the DOA xbox, the Pure White Xbox, and the clear Xbox. Could someone tell me a good place to buy the new LE clear Xbox( the one being released in Canada i think) ?

The answer is eBay, but you'll pay a lot. There are a lot of the European Crystal Xboxes on there now, and I bet Canadian ones will be in the future. (I saw one European Crystal Xbox seller who would replace the innards with those of a U.S. Xbox for $70 more.)
About those Canadian online stores, like Futureshop.ca and Bestbuy.ca: They don't ship to America. Sorry, I checked as many as I could find in my quest to get an NTSC Crystal Xbox. (Futureshop ships games but not consoles.)
I ended up having Futureshop.ca ship one to a Canadian friend, who will relay it to me in the States. Not the best way, but it's the only way I could think of to get one in California without screwing with the hated eBay.
And I needed a Crystal Xbox, you see. NEEDED. I don't have a normal one. They're too ugly. And Crystal ... isn't. It may be a bit gaudy, but damn, it looks great for an Xbox.
I'll pick em up for people at cost + shipping + a few biucks for trouble...if they ask nice

Any idea of what it costs to ship an Xbox from Canada to the U.S.? I badly want one of these, especially since I have an Xbox with a Thompson drive that I want to get rid of.

Anecdotally, I've heard Canadian Crystal Xboxes tend to have Thomson drives.
I just bought my Crystal XBOX today....and it definately has a Phillips drive. Not only that but the production of mine was only a couple of months ago(August)....these things have barely even seen shelves. I bought my Crystal XBOX at EBgames. With our stupid sales taxes in Canada, it came to $285 Canadian(With fable and Crimson skies included).
Of course, maybe I lucked out and recieved a Phillips drive. Who knows?
Responsible government is not only a good idea, it's the law. Really. If only they had this on a sign outside of every government building.
Got an Philips to, heard that all Crystal's have a Philips drive inside and that they stopped using the Thompson. But i don't know if that is for you NTSC gamers also or only for us PAL people.
