I have yet to hear not one single bad thing about this game.
But I also heard MGS2: Sons Of Liberty was a good game! >

Well, I think it's an awesome game....
Graphics are nice and smooth, very very clean. Controls are fluid and smooth. Sound is distinct--goes well with action on screen. Voice acting (hearing the voices) is good. Bently-- . Story and challenge is good. There are aggravating parts which good adventures have (read: stressful jumps) I think someone mentioned a few months ago, how the "adventure" catagory is dying due to 3d games, but I think this title would be contrary to that statement. Although, I don't much care for the cut scenes they put in the game and left out of the demo.
This was the first game in a long time that has made me genuinely want to put my money down on it. It's not made by a familier developer nor is is a sequal in a series. There is a lot you can do and you unlock moves throughout the game as you find pages of your family book. If you liked Maximo, you'll definately like this.
You know, I'll take this over Super Mario Sunshine anyday.
I played the demo over at my brother-in-law's of Sly and it was pretty cool. It has got a lot of platformer elements with dashes of MGS sneaking. When in doubt, rent it!
As for MGS 2: I played Substance on the XBox and while the story is great and the action is classic MGS, the movies in between action sequences can be too friggin' long. While I didn't mind the scenes in the original MGS, Sons of Liberty has too many too close together IMO. Again, give it a rent.
There's a review of the game on my site. Personally, I preferred Ratchet and Clank... it's just a beefier game. However, Sly Cooper is excellent in its own right. As you'd probably expect, I warmed up to the animal characters pretty quickly, and I was really amazed by the generous collision detection that prevents the game from being as frustrating as most 3D platformers. The graphics are awesome, too... they've got loads of style, and it's the first use of cel shading I've seen that actually achieves its goal of making the game look cartoony.

I really like Sly, but I got stuck on the bulldog boss and so I can't play anymore
Yeah, that confused me too at first. What you've got to do is avoid the bulldog and concentrate on the mirrors... you'll find them on the outside edges and corners of the playfield. Spin them all Muggshot's way and he'll be blinded. It gets trickier on the second floor, where he can spin them back around and undo your work, but just keep running and he won't get that chance.

I realy enjoyed playing through it, but it was a bit easy. There were 2 bosses that where kinda tricky. That is the only thing bad I have to say about it.
GET OUT OF THE WALLS CHEATER!!!
I loved the game,I think I even liked it better than Mario Sunshine! It is great, and is well worth the $40 price. :/
Sly Cooper is in my opinion one of the best games of the year!!
I second that.Originally Posted by mitmoe

I found out not too long ago that the guys (Sucker Punch) who developed this are literally down the street about a 5 minute drive away.. maybe I should go bug em
I think Sucker Punch is still (or was) running a contest for designing a new videogame character.
I think Raccoon Lad would be a great cantidate for creating a character!
I think Raccoon Lad should have his own game!!Originally Posted by Achika

That's kind of what I meant too.
