I found this at a store for $30, do you guys think it is worth it? I heard that this may be the next hard to find expensive game.

$30 seems...well, can you talk them down? Is it mint? That seems a wee bit steep for non-eBay to me, but still it's a sought-after game with the Konami name, and it's 3/5 the price of a new game - plus it'll hold its value. So...it's up to you.Originally Posted by Big Papa Husker
Its brand new still sealed.
I just bought a brand new copy of the game at TRU for 30. Maybe it wasn't the best deal in the world, but it's better then paying 70-90 dollers on ebay later on.
I think I've seen copies of the game, opened, asking $50 on eBay (er, not the copies asking, rather sellers are asking that much...doh, thought I was saving myself an edit here! LOL )
But anyhow, yeah, I'd do it. Go get that game!
It shouldnt be going anywhere.... I hid it behind another game.
At the same store, I found those Pokemon Colossium Bonus discs. I bought 4... arent those going for near 50 too?
What system is it for?
hmmmmm.. It looks like their going for around 20 bucks on Ebay. I guess I better go down and pick up a few myself. I think I saw a few of them new at the very same TRU I got my copy of FireFighter F.D 18. At the very least I could use them for spare GC cases.Originally Posted by Big Papa Husker

If this doesn't convince you to get it, I don't know what will...

Good man! :)Originally Posted by Big Papa Husker
Well, I had no idea sealed FD 18s were going for that much. I'd be happy with a mint opened copy, myself (though being able to keep the holographic seal is neat - I've been trying to do that now, though it's probably trickier with PS2 style cases than it was with PSX games where you could simply pop open the bottom of the case).
It's one of the games that has me interested in getting a PS2, oddly enough.
Man, looks like I will have to start paying attention a little more than I have in the past. Seeing those auctions on ebay, 30 bones doesnt sound so bad
PSN: SouthRox
I might go see if there are any more at any of the other TRU locations.
DOUBLE POST
Hey just wondering how is this game I saw this at my local blockbuster and it looks interesting, plus I heard it's sorta rare

My blockbuster is famous for missing all of those listed above.
Then you got the dreaded blockbuster stickers on the discs
FD18 is not rare. People are nuts. I see this game *all the time*. It reminds me of the situations with Air Force Delta Storm and the Sprint Cars 2003 (PS2) a few years ago - the games somehow had a reputation for being rare which was later shattered and the prices fell back to Earth (AFDS had a reprint, true, but even the original wasn't rare).
How much do you normally see it for? Any chance you can score a complete/good shape copy for me? I want to play the game but don't want to have to import it and deal with the language barrier (Which made Burning Rangers awesomely unfun)Originally Posted by kevincure
true, but I will take a look and see if it includes the manual and stuff,Originally Posted by PDorr3
