Majesco reissues for Genesis

The absolute worst Majesco trvesty has tp be the reissued Game Gear, which comes eith a horribly pre-scratched screen.

Now someone tell WHAT the fu*k was up with that?

Not to mention the shit quality plastic, missing cover to the serial port and colourless logo...but man, that pre-scratched-to-fucking-hell screen. Buy any Majesco GG, new, and its display will already be scratched to hell. I'd like to know why.

I have a Sonic 3 with the Acclaim on the back. Talk about weird!
I think I may also have a couple others.
Still beats the heck out of a Z80-less Genny though.....

I never really thought about them much because I always just buy games that I want to play, even if I do end up buying triple-digit NEC/Sega/NeoGeo stuff sometimes. Over time it grows more and more into an impressive pseudo collection I suppose. None of the stuff I have is ultra freakin' rare (several thousand existing copies (released games) is as far as it gets, not that that isn't rare, but it sure pales in comparison to some of the VCS stuff).

I would like to have less doofy looking copies of those Genny games though.... can't be too expensive.

If you look at the fine print, you'll find Majesco Sales, Inc. mentioned. I'm not sure if they got a hold of the Ballistic label from Accolade or what...

I have a copy of Toy Story that has the Ballistic sticker and no mention of Majesco...
