Somebody I know swears he saw an arcade game where your character's gas was used to kill the opponent. Was this something I never saw in MK or KI? Is this true?

My guess is that he's thinking of Primal Rage, but I think that the flatulence move was only a regular in game move, not a fatality. I could be wrong though, outside of the character models, I never liked Primal Rage.

There was the Poop-ality in Ultra Vortek for the Jaguar. It didn't involve farting -- just turning your opponent into a festering pile of... well, you get the idea.

That's a great, great game for the Jaguar, by the way.

There is a sequel, it just never went into production.

they also deviated from the original game in that the creatures now resided in avatars (which explains the man on the side of the cab)

Earthquake in Samurai Shodown also plants a big one on the characters face. Grabs their head, slams it into his ass, and the rest is pretty ugly to watch.

The prototype for Tatoo Assasins on MAME also has a move called "Deadly Flatulence."

Why the hell do I seem like an expert on this topic??

Looks like a mock up to me. It's got the exact same bezel as Primal Rage 1. Then again, I may be wrong.

But yeah, that was Chaos's move in the game. His fatality was one where he'd pee on his opponant and melt there skin off, the "Golden Shower".

    I love that game.

Re-read the part about "it never went into production." They finished the game and didn't mass produce it. That's a real cab, one of a scant few that exist.

So your character actually defecated on the opponent until he died? Jeez, that sounds... um... orginal!

It either fell from the sky or they just transformed - I can't remember exactly since it's been years since I performed a Poopality

You just transformed. I have never been able to pull one off, but I've watched people do it to me time and time again with great, um... "success."

In Kasumi Ninja, there was also a Scottish fighter who would lift up his kilt and a fireball would spring forth from his nether-regions. Front-side attack though.

What a strange topic we're on today, hunh?

Bo'Rai'Cho does a flatuelance fatality in MKeception, not sure if he does it in Deadly Alliance. He basically turns around, holds a candle or torch between his fat rear and the defeated foe and lets it rip.

An extra side note, in the Toshinden games, Fo Fai had a flatulance move, which was increased tenfold when he used it in one of his overdrive attacks. It looked pretty disturbing when you saw Bayhou, that ape-like creature, do the same thing in Toshinden 3.

Flatulence fatality? Don't you mean... fartality? Ha ha ha, I kill me.

And thanks, goatdan, for reviving those horrible, horrible memories of a Scotsman spraying fireballs from his groin. ;-)

It's kind of interesting to see the games that were bold enough to include breaking wind as an actual gameplay mechanic. Genesis Beavis and Butthead features this sort of move as well, but that's almost expected in this case. Heh.

Character in Ultimate Muscle for the Game Cube has a move where he farts on another wrestler. Not a fatality/finisher though.

i'm sure one of the Tekken games had a hidden character, some sort of little dinosaur thing, that would turn and deliver a dose of the medicine as one of its moves.

Although I can't remember which Tekken game, or what the characted was called. Or am I getting it mixed up with something else?

You're thinking of the character "Gon."

You could fart in the first oddworld game, but really had no offensive function from what I remember.
