Nintendo GameCube Favorites

I'm adding Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 to my list of Gamecube favorites. I could really get lost in this game for hours and hours and still wouldn't be even close to getting every special weapon and item.

Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee is the greatest multiplayer on the gamecube at the moment. And if anyone wants to argue, they'll find a hammer in their head.

I agree, that game has great multiplayer but it doesnt come near Super Smash Bros Melee - which is my pick.

Also one of my new favorites is Tales of Symphonia

Again, Tales of Symphonia. Oh, and for those playing it, make SURE you go to Flanoir and go on your "side quest" there (no spoilers here) You really, really, really won't regret it and will find it to be an utter challenge at the same time. Let's see, other favorites would be Ribbit King, Smash Bros Melee and MAYBE Baten Kaitos..I'm not really sure about this one. Namco did well with ToS but who knows...

Yeah it does, I think its just a another monster or a better mecha godzilla - I cant remember but its something like that.

OK I'll admit to showing up late for the party but are you serious? I was bored with it 15 minutes into the game. There's just SO LITTLE TO DO. Does the game get significantly better as you go?

Skies of arcadia legends (HUGE plus less battles compared to DC version)
P.N.03 (old school shooter with a cute chick)
Pacman VS
Star Wars -Rebel Strike (looks better than the movies and are pure fun in multiplayer)

Either that or I am REALLY missing something! This is one of the most boring games I've played in a long time. Such limited moves, repetitive enemies, every level looks almost the same (reminds me of the battles in the first Phantasy Star... halway after endless hallway, only the battles in this game happen to suck). Please explain what makes this game great. I'm a very forgiving gamer but I can't imagine how this one gets on someone's top "anything" list.

It's a sandbox game. Use your abilities and do better each time. Best summed up by this review I think:

I guess it explains why it sadly sold rather low in the US (indeed I'd almost call it some sort of medium rarity on that statistic).

Go! Go! Hypergrind!!! I didn't know a skateboarding game could be really, really fun (I didn't really get swept up in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater) and completely bizarre at the same time.
