Maybe in your dreams or in a pawn shop in a high crime level neighbourhood...
Just for the records. The shipping fee (EMS only for Airmail can carry only up to 2 Kg/4 lb) for one of this babes from Japan goes for AT LEAST 65 bucks.
So your best chance is to try to find a nice starters NeoGeo AES bundle for less than $135 in Japan. If you succeed PM me so I can buy there as well... as many as I can...

. If you do get it for less than $200, wait until you have to buy the actual homecarts. The popular/rare ones go over $300-400+, and that's in the middle of the ball-field price. If you want a Last Blade 2 or MOTW expect to pay $700-800 for a nice copy. These are all US homecarts of course. Their japanese counterparts are a little less expensive. Or if you are really cheap you can use MVS carts on a homesystem. but EVEN for that, you need to buy a Phantom-1 converter which goes for about $200 itself.Originally Posted by Virtualboy
Either way, cheap and Neo Geo don't go hand-in-hand. Good luck on your quest

If you don't mind the load times you can always go the Neo Geo CD route which is the least expensive of all. Since the title of the thread was in regard to "carts", my input probably isn't much help. I'll be testing my technical ineptitude later this year by attempting to build a consolized MVS which for the most part, would be even cheaper than even the CD option.Originally Posted by rhiohki

You could do this:
$200 NeoGeo
$200 MVS adaptor
= $400
But the best thing to do is to find an Arcade Distributor (get a phone number of the side of ANY arcade machine). Give them a call and check if they have any 4 slot NEOGEO's, and heres a hint: THEY DO! Almost all of these guys have one or two of these (plus a warranty) for like $300-600. Plus like mentioned before the games are cheapest this way!
Plus a NeoGeo dedicated machine in you house destroys any AES ever!
This is your best bet honestly, it's 100x more awesome than a AES console and the games are MUCH MUCH cheaper.Originally Posted by DrWily008
Besides that, like everyone else said, finding a cheap Neo Geo AES is gonna be nearly impossible. Unless you luck up like me and get it practically free.
His best bet is finding a 1 slot neo... tons of distrubutors still have those and value them a lot less than a 4 slot. I see those go for $100 fairly regularly. They also fail a LOT less often than multislot boards and I'm guessing this kid doesn't have the skills to fix one.
Seeking display quality copy of I Want My Mommy for the 2600... if you have one, PM me, I will pay/trade well.
Out of curiousity, did you buy any of these other systems you were "interested" in buying?
Atari Lynx/Sega Game Gear
Sega genesis/SNES
Sega Master System/Sega Dreamcast
And did you ever get that Virtual Boy you were searching for, ie, your namesake? Before shelling out big bux for a Neo, how's about buying any one of the admittedly cheaper systems above you were so torn up about last week.

Anyways he's not going to buy any of this stuff, Jonjandran was going to sell him some GAME.com stuff and then he continued to bump his thread to see if anyone ELSE had one for sale. Timewaster!
Here's another one that HE HAD to have a VirtualBoy...many people offered, yet he didnt take one offer. http://www.digitpress.com/forum/view...hlight=#584088
This poster is terrible.
That should explain the lack of manners, knowledge and last but not least, funds...Originally Posted by DrWily008

Lol yea I'm only 13. I don't have a job. The reason I post for all those systems is to see if I like one or the other and which is the best deal since i ahve no actual way of making the BIG $$$ like you do . And Snidey you DO have too much free time and the reason my name is virtualboy is because i had one but my dang mom gave it to goodwill!!!Originally Posted by Archenemy
so then what the hell is the point posting these stupid threads taking up room in the buying and selling forum.
the neo geo originally retailed for $700, the games range from $40-16,000.
$200 is an amazing price to be getting a neo geo for, considerig what it originally, and until recently had been selling for.
YOU ARE 13,YOU DONT HAVE THE CASH FOR A NEO,SO DONT MAKE A THREAD ABOUT IT.
