Default Name that 80's videogame game show?

Does anybody remember a game show where kids would pick up boxed NES and Genesis games and attach them to their bodies with velcro after they retrieved them from a maze? This show came on in the late 80's, and it was syndicated.

I just thought about this show after the Captain N thread appeared. Anyway, this show used to come on early in the morning on weekdays when I was a kid. It wasn't Nickelodeon or any of the major networks.

Seriously, guys this is not a joke...I swear.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

Could it possibly be "Video Power"? I remember watching the show when it first came out. It had reviews with Johnny Arcade and then would show a 15 minute cartoon with Acclaim characters. Anyways...I remember that they changed the format of the show and I think it featured contestants. I'm not positive so hopefully someone else can shed some light on the subject.

What's up, Scott? I guess it makes sence that you would post here. How's the store going?

Definitely Video Power. I couldn't get enough of this show. I wanted to run that obstacle course so badly. The best part was, I believe if you kept winning, you were eligible to get a Neo Geo as THE grand prize.

Check these web sites out for more info:

    Hope this helped Jose.

Wow, man. I owe you a great thanks. You have sparked a long dead memory. I had completly forgotten about this and now all I wanna do is watch an episode. When you said "pick up boxed NES and Genesis games and attach them to their bodies with velcro", I instantly remembered the show but not the title. Thanks to those in the know!!!

He looks like Jordan from New Kids On The Block. Wonder why that one website didn't show that also. They showed 3 others he looked like. For some reason he also reminds me of the game DJ & Jeff for Turbo Grafx.

I too used to wish I could be a contestant on that show. Now that I think about it, there was a cartoon with Kwirk the Tomato and the guy from Wizards and Warriors as hero characters. Thanks for the info, guys!
