Youre in luck , Hold l and r and hold all 4 buttons and start and it should bring up the exit menu.

You might have to hit it twice.
Ah thanks! I had a feeling it was something like that anyway!

I mean like an oddball Genesis/Saturn game...not the game that was on EVERY ODM disc and Web Browser disc lol

WOW, I didn't know that, so the DC guns work for the Sega Smash pack??

Really, the only good game on it is VC2... the sound is simply abysmal on many of the games, most notably Streets of Rage, Revenge of Shinobi and Golden Axe. I wondered why they just didn't re-use the Sega CD remixes instead.

It didn't get in the way of the gameplay for me. ;) I got a heck of a lot of play out of my Smash Pack. I played through Sonic, Phantasy Star 2, and Shining Force on it, and I toyed around with the other games as well. I can't recall if I had a Genesis back then or not, but I know I didn't own any of the Smash Pack games at the time, so I thought it was great. I haven't touched it in a long time, though, since I now own the carts of most of the games I'd want to play.

Well, you did play the "Smash Pack" without knowing how the orginal game sounded versus how it is on the Smash Pack.

I played "Streets of Rage 2" and "Revenge of Shinobi" not long before becoming interested in the Smash Pack so the way the sounds are supposed to sound was very fresh in my mind.

And hearing the sound FX butchered like that made me disgusted.

    I'd rather play the orginals.

Possibility is infinity! You must be satisfied!

Music in this is pretty horrid. How exactly do I save in Shining Force on this, and anyone suggest playing SF on this compilation rather then a true emu disc?

I heard that they never defragged the data on the disc prior to making the discs, and that causes the disc to kill the DC's GD-ROM drive.

Yeah, I'm not just going to accuse people of being wrong but I'd need to see a concrete source for that.

And to be honest I have never seen that either, at least not with my own.
