I knew the VCS would be my best bet (since I'm over 150 carts for it), but I'm missing the exact same letters - U and X.

But thanks to this thread, I know what I'll be looking for next time I go on a VCS splurge

I've got a complete A-Z for the Master System, just missing Q and X for the Mega Drive (Got Quackshot on a compilation though ). Thought I had Xenon 2, but must be mistaken...

Playstation and Genesis are covered, including #numbers
NES needs a U, but I've been meaning to get Uninvited.
    PS2 needs V and Y
    SNES needs Q and Y

You can't browse by letter on DP though :P
If you select a system and don't put a game name in, you can see all games alphabetically listed for any particular system.

I picked up a full alphabet collection on the Playstation 2.

"Q" was probably the toughest letter (Q-Ball Billiards was the title that I got), followed closely by U (Unlimited Saga).

I have A-Z covered in my NES collection, but other than that I'm missing a lof of letters for each system. I might be getting somewhat close in my Genny collection (between Aero the Acrobat and Zoop!), and my NGPC has a lot of different beginning letters, but alas, only my NES holds this ::ahem:: honor.

Any suggestions for those missing letters? :P
    For "Z", get Zelda 64!

I thought for sure with my 1000+ games I would have it within at least a couple systems, but alas I was wrong.

PSX - Need X (if I could get my hands on a cheap X-com, I'd be set) and Z

    NES - Need Q,U,V,X

    SNES - Need Just Q

    Gennesis - Need U,X,Y

Also have the number category covered by all those exceot PSX too.

I never even thought of checking to see if I was even close. The system I would be closest to would probly be the PS but thats only because I have so many games for it. I am missing a few letters for it, but as the games I know for it that use those letters suck, I dont mind.

Q*Bert 3 is actually a pretty good game, if you are going for something there
It looks like my only option. However, I've never played Q*Bert before, so I'd like to try it out. Unless it's priced too high or something, I'll pick it up the next time I see it.

And from checking a couple different places, there doesn't seem to be any Gamecube titles that start with a Q.

Yes, but you can't click on a link "X" and display all games that start with X for that platform, that's what I meant.

But if you go to Gamefaqs.com, you may accidentally contract some sort of IQ-reducing virus and inadvertently infect the DP community.

The closest I get as far as I can tell is with NES and PlayStation (which are fittingly, the only two systems I have over 100 games each for). Each are missing 5 letters (E, H, J, U, Y for NES and E, I, Q, U, Y for PlayStation). I'm sure I have a full alphabet across all my systems, though.

Atari 2600 was the first I checked, and yes I have A-Z thanks to good old "UFI und sein gefahrlicherEinsatz" aka " E.T. Go Home" .
I also have games starting with 3 and 4, now just missing 1,2, and 5-0 to have them all!!!

I got A-Z covered on two systems that I know offhand, the Super Nintendo and the Playstation (PS1). I had to buy a not-so-good PS1 game, Zero Divide, just to get the "Z" game...there were only about 3 choices in that letter as I recall. My "U" game was bought about the same time as Zero Divide, Um Jammer Lammy. I should check some of my other systems though I doubt I can do it with any other system though I do have a few other systems with a hundred or more games so it's possible.
