Default Value check: Castlevania SOTN import

There haven't been any on eBay for 30 days. I just got this in a lot with a modded Playstation (with Tobal 2, Hermie Hopperhead, and others). This is the only one I can't find a value for since I plan on selling it. It comes with the instruction book, soundtrack, and art book. The Japanese do get everything, don't they?

Anyone know what, roughly, it goes for?

Is it the original release, or that red label "best of" copy?

Hermie was burned. A good one, but a burn. I just realized it. Casltevania is original, as is Tobal 2. Some of the others were burned too like like Hyper Crazy Climber and Mega Man X3. Poop. Still, the rest are original, so I'm happy.

Now, anyone know what SOTN is worth?

The Japanese version of SOTN for the PS is not valuable money-wise. It goes for 1000-1400 yen here in Japan (about 10-14 US dollars) so I wouldn't expect to sell it for much. The exception to this is the first pressing of the game which came with an artbook and a music CD, but you'd know if you had that.

Hermie Hopperhead is also a common game. You shouldn't have to pay more than $15 for it. You don't see it as often as SOTN (SOTN has had many, many print runs), but it's still not valuable.

It's pretty cheap in Japan. I think I got one minty fresh for 1500 yen before leaving. That's a first print one.

That's the exact version I have Cthulhu. I'm on the fence as to what to do with it. The sountrack is awesome, but I already have the game.

It's worth having just for the soundtrack, if you ask me. My copy of the game has been around the block, though, so I probably couldn't even sell it if I wanted to. :P

What's the art book like? I have the original release of the game, but all I have is the music CD and manual.

look at eBay UK for the PAL limited edition of Castlevania: SOTN - sometimes the price is up at 110 Pounds
the PS1 collecting scene in Europe is already growing slowly and key games like limited editions are highly sought after.

Ahh, so you have the nice first pressing. Lucky you

I don't think it goes for quite as little as GaijinPunch got it for anymore, but it's still not too valuable as far as I know. I haven't seen one for sale in a while, but then again, I haven't been looking. If I see one for sale anytime soon I'll come post what it was going for.
