Is it ok to stack 3 Genesis Model 1's on top of each other?

Not if you're using them all at once (especially not on three TVs stacked on top of each other)

What, do you mean for storage? Uh...you can stack boxed Model 1s without any damage if you're careful...I guarantee it.

I would imagine he meant stacking for storage. If you want to, it shouldn't be a problem. They're quite light. I wouldn't do it mind you. But then I'm really anal.

They won't sit level, and may quite possibly tumble to the ground. I've witnessed this myself.

Though not about Genesises, I went into a pawn shop one day right after they opened, and they had a tendency to stack all the extra systems on the very top of the shelf, including the X-Boxes.

Well lo and behold, I was the one that noticed the 3 xboxes that had managed to loose themselves from the top of the cabinet. I don't know what happened to them after I pointed it out, but one of them was pretty seriously damaged looking, with the front smashed and a crack right through the plastic casing.

Every since that point, they stack all their systems IN a cabinet with doors.

If you do it in a corner or somewhere they are snug and check that they arn't going anywhere before leaving them they should be alright.

If you can, just shrink-wrap them together then put them away. No tumble, no mess. Just get some ceran wrap (sp) and blow dry it so it shrinks and holds everything together.
