Default Favorite 1991 Arcade Spiderman Hero

I rarely see this game anymore, but it was highly enjoyable. You were able to fight most of Spidey's archvillains, plus you could play as one of Spidey's rivals/friends. So for those who remember it, who was your favorite? Mine would be Spidey, of course. Also any further thoughts about the game as well?

    Wow, it THIS game!!!!

When I was about 10 (which was 1991) I played this in an arcade away from home, and when I went home I for some reason remembered it as being a Spider-Man/X-Men game.
I never saw that game again

And then about 2 years later a an ad stating a Spider-Men/X-Men game coming to the Sega Genesis and Super NES. I bought it. I was appalled. But thats another story.

Now after long last I see it again!!
So it was just called Spider-Man? what about the other character's involvement... is there any subtitle?

I wish I could use MAME and start digging up old arcade titles.

    Spider-Man.

This particular game has seen a lot of action on my MAME cab with my son and his friends. Personally I don't think this is a great game but anything that has the webhead in it will command my interest for a time.

I do kind of like that acapella ditty you hear when you're selecting your player: "Duh-dooba-dooba-dooh!" I've been caught singing that around the house from time to time.
