Default How to play imports on snes?

Does one need to buy an adaptor or mod the snes system?

Just cut out the two gray tabs in the cartridge slot and you're good to go.

Unless it's PAL, then you might need to buy an adaptor. I never tried...

I own an adaptor, so there must be a need for some imports.

FYI: I'm not interested in keeping it.

don't make the mistake of modding the game carts. someone sold me two sfc games when i first got into them. one of them, dead dance, had two slits already carved into it. so i went ahead and did it to a much rarer game (one of the river city ransom ones) before i figured out system modding was a much better idea.

I too own some Super famicom cartridges that someone cut the back of them up to play on snes. Ya just take out the little tabs in the snes unit.

Ive seen megadrive games in the wild CHOPPED off the sides presumably so they would fit in a Genesis.... Fuckin troglodytes.

Just take a phillips screwdriver and pop off the two tabs inside the cartridge port of the SNES. Took me 2 minutes, and now I can play Super Famicom games.

You can also use the Game Saver for the SNES as an adapter.
