Hey guys I didn't take too many photos since I was in video game overload mode and kind of floated around aimlessly looking at all the video game goodness.

I did manage to take a few shots of the video game museum (i'm sure other people took more than I did). A photo of my tired girlfriend I dragged to the expo and a couple she took of me playing too. One really bad photo of 8 Bit Weapon who I thought were so cool I bought both their cds.

    Those pictures are awesome Jibba!
I always love looking at pictures of the DP guys. They always seem to be doing some crazy antic. However, I don't see Arcade Antics (the king of all antics) in any of those pictures.

    Thanks, Jumpman.

Classicb, where the shits were you? I wanted to meet you.

    More importantly? MORE PICS!!!!

Joe wore his light-up shoes so that we wouldn't lose him.

This is a shot down the main aisle before opening on Saturday.

Dream arcades. They sell MAME cabinet kits.

    PDF and Drexel923

The people were selling some sort of game develoment board. To be honest, none of us really gave a shit, but Dex and I were facinated by the fact that the chick working the booth looks just like an 80's Suzanne Summers.

Shot of Billy Galaxy's booth. He sells all kinds of gaming toys and whatnot. A couple of his Japanese friends came over from Japan with assloads of import stuf.

    Arcade cabs.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Tony Fox and the Digital Retro Revolution.

8-bit weapon setting up. John Hardie (left) was begging to be allowed to sing along to the music.

    Swap Meet.

View out of the window on the 7th floor, where I was staying.

    My first day's haul.

    My first day's haul.

Vectrexer and Mayhem at the CGE party.

The back of Joe, and the much more desirable back of Carrie at the CGE party.

Fairly uninteresting shot of the party.

John Hardie. Falling asleep standing up. Drunk? Nooooo.

Vectrexer, Mayhem, RetroYoungen, and Drex. Plus the unidentified back of someone's head.

Sean Kelly taking a load off in the bedroom at the CGE party. Drunk? Nooooo.

    More to come!

Funny enough I mostly just played games with my GF as if we don't have enough games at home.

The only DP people got to talk to were RetroYoungen (since he was helping with 8 bit weapon) and DP. I was thinking I would meet more DPers at the party but then we ended up not going. It was just a day trip for us.

    Here's what I got:

This is my first Colecovision. We played Venture, Ladybug and Mousetrap when we got back home.

Here are some pictures of what I picked up at the show.
Great show, and I got to me a bunch of people.
I will try to post some more pictures on my site later today.

I got a lot of great stuff from a couple of real nice guys from Japan Yusaku and Tanaka.

I wanted to say it was an awesome show and I REALLY appreciate going on all of your dimes. I very much enjoyed talking w/ all of the members and Joe (digitalpress). And I made some future friends in Jibba Jaba, Neuropolitique, Dojosky & his brother (Dan), Drexel923, and everyone else I met!

If I forgot your name in a picture, please forgive me and send me a PM so I can correct it (including what picture you were in).

Snake eating tourist in Vegas layover! Details at 11 on fox news.

My hotel, very nice, I wish I had taken more pics of it!

Glenn Bruner with his CGE award for contributions.

Jim Combs a.k.a "Digitpressjim" bringing back the Don Johnson suit!

Don Rogers & Al Backiel - These two guys were fantastic, they both had some excellent stories.

Billy Galaxy's booth w/ tons of great japanese stuff.

Digital retro revolution soundstage w/ Jon Hardie trying to sell car insurance or ginsu knives...I'm not really sure.

The Atari Cosmos and box was quite a tasty treat.

Donkey Kong Competition and Star Fox Weekend carts. for the SNES.

Turbo Grafx display in the museum.

Dean a.k.a. "D-Lite" the system mod god!

    Atari 7800 special controller

"His & Hers" Atari Lynx prototypes, for you and your lady friend.

Blurry shot of a Coleco Telestar & a Combat controller

The unreleased Atari Cosmos, a hologram based portable 3-D system.

    Boxed Adventurevision

    Munchman LCD portable game

Nintendo VCD tv & a Sharp Twin Famicom system

Preproduction Revenge of the Jedi game for Intellivision.

Mobygames.com 6 foot tall sign made entirely of Lego's (quite a feat).

The other side of Mobygames.com sign...NICE!

Part of my haul from CGE, lots of goodies you will never see out in the wild. If you don't go to CGE 10th anniversary show, you suck!

    Vectrex Kiosk

    Famicom 3-D glasses

Banner given to the museum by Sean Kelly (who paid big bucks) autographed by all of the guests of the alumni dinner (which was very fun!).

Golden Mario Statue from a store in Japan (10,000 made). I lost at bidding on it at the auction (I went to $200, I think it ended in the $350 range)

The crowd enjoying some games for free!

    Sega Neptune!!!

    Sega CD development kit

Seth Sternberger from the great music group 8-Bit Weapon.

Newst member of the DP music staff playing the Metroid theme, BTW you rock on the keyboard dude!

Glenn Bruner, Don Rogers, and Me (Drwily008)

Jibba Jaba and me (Drwily008). Chris, I am glad to have met you!

Atari Cosmos box again...what can I say? I love that thing!

    Atari 2800 system

    The people of Packrat videogames.

    Ulala & Perkar

A very small picture of some of the DP forum members (from left): Joe Santulli, Drexel923, Marioallstar2600, evg2000, Carrie from the Messiah booth, DarthVader, Retroyoungen, Drwily008, ans neuropolitique.

    Tony Fox and Seth Sternberger

Matt a.k.a. "Mayhem" striking a pose for us silly yanks.

Hoardes of people who want free shit from the Intellivision booth.

Dean "D-Lite" holding my copy of Magical Chase factory sealed. He wouldn't give it up so I had to bludgeon him. Seriously very nice Dean!

Don "Dojosky", Dan "I'm gonna join DP as soon as I get the internet" , and me (Drwily008) these were 2 of the coolest guys at the show!

Yars Revenge autographed by creator Howard Warshaw. And now it is mine!

Blue & Green Game Factory carts for the genesis that I won at the auction.

Daimakaimura (Ghouls n' Ghosts) for the SuperGrafx that I bought.

Dragon Quest PVC figures I bought on sale from Billy Galaxy!

Anyways that wraps it up, once again thanks for sending me and I wish I could have done more. I kept asking if anyone needed help and everyone seemed on top of things.

I wish I was still there....%$^&*(! hot ass Florida.

Beats me, but I do have a couple of corrections. That 7800 controller was released in Europe, and they are readily available as NOS here in the states. I have one myself. If you are interested in one, contact Dave2236/ He sells them in his store.

Also, in that group photo, those two individuals that you didn't name are evg2000 and Darth Vader. I dunno 8-bit Weapon's real name either.

I believe the back of that head might belong to Rik Morgan, your humble handheld games king, and kind exhibitor of the the gigantic handheld section in the CGE museum. Rik tells me there is much more.

Both Rik and I have not really hung out with the group before. Everyone was supernice and interesting. Glad I finally was able to meet and greet a lot of you! The show has some many good souls it is hard to name everyone.

In an effort to save bandwidth, I've started posting some of the highlights of a couple hundred megs worth of video in my blog.*

    * End of blog-pimpage - normally frowned-upon, but if you're posting your CGE pics in your blog, it's permissible in this thread.

Those are some awesome pictures. Man... to think that I was in California the week before, and I just couldn't figure out a way to stay another week and make it up to CGE from LA... In a couple years, I think I need to make up some sort of excuse!

The second question mark person in the picture at the DP booth is DarthVader (Dan Kasner)
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
