    Default Collections within collections

I just picked up, through various sources, the full series of PaRappa the Rapper series. It was oddly satisfying to have a smaller set within the bigger set of all playstation games. I was wondering if there are any other small, cross-platform series that I can spend my time looking for. Grandia is a series that cought my eye. Any series that you other colecters have had particular fun looking for?

I make a point to pick up all the Harry Potter and Lego games. More than just cross-platform collections they are cross-collection collections. I also collect Lego so I try to get all the video games. I've also got quite a few Lego board games. Same goes for Harry Potter. I don't collect a lot of Harry Potter stuff. Besides the books and movies I just get the games, be they video or board.

Its the main franchises for me. Mario, Metroid, Sonic, Zelda, Metal Slug.

I also like to go for specific Genres. At the moment I'm going for gimicky arcade fighters like SSBM, Die Hard Arcade, Dynamite Cop, Power Stone.

Same deal with the Kojima stuff, and I love to collect anything Megaman related.

Isn't Die Hard Arcade a shooter and Dynamite Cop! a beat em up? :/

I'm thinking of picking up all of the existing Fire Pro Wrestling games. I know for the most part they'd be reasonably easy to get without much hassle. They're great wrestling games which makes it that much easier to collect them all!

I try to get all the major franchises. Megaman, Castlevania, Metal Gear, Street Fighter, etc... Also I've spent a lot of time tracking down the D&D games.

I'm working on every game where Link and Mario make an appearance. That includes things like the CD-I Zelda games.

You're thinking of Die Hard Trilogy. Die hard arcade is a beatemup, and dynamite cop is the spiritual sequel to it, same gameplay, just no die hard moniker.

I collect any Battletoads games and memorabilia, I have several of the more rare games too including a sealed Amiga 1000 computer diskette version.
If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

It isn't a spiritual sequel, it is the sequel. Die Hard Arcade is just the game Dynamite Deka with a Die hard license tacked on to make it sell better. In Japan, what we call Dynamite cop is called Dynamite Cop 2.

I seek out Mortal Kombat stuff.
Games, controllers, memorabillia, clothes, etc, etc

I was also trying to get all of ther Atlus games.
This is something that is going to have to sit on the back burner till i get more money. I more or less have all the cheaper ones.

Also was going to try and get all the Super Scope games but after buying my Super Scope i got a car and now have to save for insurance.

I generally have alot of mini collections within my larger collection. Those are the ones i most want rigth now(MK & Atlus) and the most recent one(Super Scope).

Since becoming hopelessly addicted to ChoroQ on the PS2, I've been going out of my way to find every US-release ChoroQ game.

I also collect shmups, mainly for 32bit and onwards.

Anything that Sucker Punch or Tri Ace develop, I'll buy.

I'll also buy any game with the havok physics engine (Ninjabread Man soon!). Psi Ops and Half Life 2 are so hot and wet in the physics department.

There were other ChoroQ games released here? Enlighten, please.

    Penny Racers (N64) (ChoroQ 64)

Road Trip Arcade Edition (Gamecube) (ChoroQ!)

    Gadget Racers (GBA) (ChoroQ Advance)
Road Trip: Shifting Gears (GBA) (ChoroQ Advance 2)

    Gadget Racers (PS2) (ChoroQ HG)
    Road Trip (PS2) (ChoroQ HG2)
    ChoroQ (PS2) (ChoroQ HG4)
Seek & Destroy (PS2) (Shin Combat ChoroQ)

Europeans also got ChoroQ HG3 as "Gadget Racers" and ChoroQ HG as "Penny Racers".

I loved ChoroQ and recently started playing Road Trip a little here and there and I'm loving the free roaming world, but the racing engine doesn't even begin to tough ChoroQ's imo.
