    Default Pronunciation Check: AXELAY

So, how do you pronounce it:

    AXE-LAY

    or

    AXEL-AY

    or

    AXEL-LAY
    ???

The katakana on the SFC cart doesn't help to much, reading as AKUSUREI. Phooie.

In the Japanese the u in the "ku" would be weak so

    a-ku-su-re-i

    Would be ak-su-rei

So axe-ley would be the most correct.

I always pronounced it Axel-lay... but Revquixo's explanation makes sense.

I always said Axel-ay, but I never did see the katakana. Since there is no e or a after the ku su, you can't pronounce what isn't there!

God knows why they didn't just name the game Axlay or Ax Ray,

    Axe-lay it is.

Always been Axe-Lay to me. Never really thought it could be pronounced otherwise...

    Axe-Lay

The other pronunciations sound very strange indeed!
