Did anybody else get this?

I got some letter saying that they picked me out of millions of playstation owners(BS) and i should join this gamer advisory panel for the playstation underground. Is anybody else in the PS underground and get this letter?

Basically anyone who ever submitted their address to Sony got that. PS2 sites were all abuzz about it until people realized that like everybody got one.

I didn't get one but I've heard that it's a pretty GOOD thing. Beta testing, freebies, etc. GO FOR IT.

I took the first survey yesterday upon signing up. Takes abut 10-15 min & asks about gaming habits, frequency, etc. & tells you there's more to come. Don't know what freebies I'll get, though I should watch for my special "Gamers Advisory Kit" or something or other in the mail soon.
we have similar surveys @ work, & some people shrug them off or don't take them at all. Then when things don't go their way, they're the first to complain! sign up- what've you got to lose?

Oops, I wasn't meaning to sound so negative. I did sign up, because of the reasons listed above, and also because video game mailing lists are ok by me, that's one kind of junk mail I don't mind receiving

I got some "rewards" for signing up: a certificate (suitable for framing) saying I'm a member of the Gamer Advisory Panel.

A black zippered CD case/notebook w/ spots for 6 discs, 4 mem cards, & a cool PlayStation pen.

Not bad just for signing up...

I signed up and just go my gift case last night. It is kinda like a PS2 daytimer. Very cool.
