Default Difference Between Monitor Out and VGA IN/VIDEO ON A CONSOLE

Ok, I have a VGA box for the DC and it only has VGA and not the Monitor/Out option. What I want to know is how do I connect my PC monitor to it because I have another VGA box for the GC and it has a monitor out. I'd appreciate any helpful replies. Thanks!

I know but for some reason it doesn't work on my DC while my GC VGA box has 2 outlets one being Monitor Out and the other VGA in and the monitor hooks to the Monitor Out. If you hook it to the VGA in then you don't get any picture.

Yes, if you hook the monitor to the INPUT of the box, you obviously aren't going to get any picture. Heh.

Check your DC VGA box for a switch to select the output. Mine has a little switch that toggles between the VGA monitor output and the s-video/composite output. If it still doesn't do anything, then it might be a dead adapter box.

Uhhh, You're right. It works now. The switch on mine is TV or PC, and you have to put it on TV. Thanks.

Is yours that nice bright orange box? I'm pretty sure that's exactly what the switch is labeled on mine, too.

Also, just so you know, there are a few games that aren't compatible with VGA. These are few and far between, thankfully. But I can't get my Hydro Thunder to work with it. Blah.

Nahh!! Mine's a black box. And yes I have already encountered one of the games that isn't compatible with it; KOF 98.

Use a boot disk to get around this or a gameshark.

So, if I burned my DC KOF 98, I can play it on the PC monitor?
