Can I plug a 110V power adapter into my US outlet?

I just got a XRGB2-plus device to use with my consoles, and it has a 110V power adapter on it. It has a big sticker on the power adapter that says 110V, so I was thinking that maybe I need to use some kind of adapter from radio shack with it?


Or can I just plug this thing into my power outlet?


I'm in the U.S.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but I actually don't know anything about the power outlets in different countries and all that. I know that sometimes you need some kind of adapters from Radio Shack.

See, I told you it was a stupid question.


Shows you that I don't know diddly squat about stuff like that. Cool, now I know I won't blow the thing up by plugging it in. It's just that it had this huge sticker on it saying 110V, so I thought it was some kinda warning or something. I guess it's a warning for people in Europe.

This is where I get confused. I thought we were 220V. So when I imported my Famicom Micro, I got scared that I'd have to runs out and find a replacement power adapter for it. But everyone at GA-Forums assured me that the supplied adapter would work. Sure enough, it did work and says (Jap/USA) on it. So my question is who is 220V if not USA and not Japan?

Needless to say was totally relieved when I found that I didn't have to buy anything else to use my Micro. I had no idea Japan used the same plug as us.

220 is used for things like stoves/ovens, clothes dryers..

220V is for places like europe, australia, most parts of asia except japan and taiwan.
