It was a CD based system similar to the CD-i, but the library consists of all edutainment games. I think the only "real" game in the library is Sherlock Holmes which is available on other systems. It was sold primarily through Radio Shack I believe.

I see three of them on ebay right now. Odd little system that I know nothing about... Good luck.

This probably won't surprise you, but I have approximately 20 VIS titles. As Tempest stated, most of the stuff is Educational/Edutainment. Of the titles I own, the only ones that are "games" are:

Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective Vol I
Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective Vol II
    Links: The Challenge of Golf
    The Manhole
    Victor Vector & Yondo/The Vampire's Coffin

The first three should be pretty familiar. The Manhole is an early Activision CD-ROM game, again aimed at kids, with exploration as the theme. Lots of screens, kind of like a kid's version of Myst. VV&Y/TVC is a Dragon's Lair style "double feature".

It's a really weak system, but obscure enough to lure me in. The stuff came out circa 1992 so don't expect much more than Sega CD graphics (though they are a little cleaner) if you decide to explore this unholy realm.
