    Default 1972 Magnavox Odyssey experts

So I thought I was gonna win this auction and then I got blown away in the last few seconds by David Winter & Videopac. Here's the link:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3003106368

So has anyone seen this blue #7/#8 cart before. I guess it's worth about $250 unless I'm missing something else in this auction. It says it had 26 overlays so it may have had the overlays for game #7 & game #8.

    Thanks, Y-bot

I'm not really into that system, but it looks like a nice bunch of stuff there with the carry case and documentation.

Yes, I followed the auction. David won. He has about 150 Odyssey's in his collection already :-)

I have a complete 1972 Magnavox Odyssey collection, but I never seen the double card before. I wonder what the reason behind this was. card #7 was isssued with Volleyball, and card #8 was issued twice; first with Handball, later again with Basketball.
I wonder if David can shed some light on this.

See here my complete Odyssey collection:

It says Apex Magnavox Miami and there is a piece of paper that says the same. I'm guesssing that they had them made for there store or something. Maybe they made different overlays and had there own game or something. I need an RF cable, manual, and a working console. I bought one off ebay a few years ago for about $50 but I still need a few pieces and I don't think my console works.
