Just wanted to apologise for the insensitive remarks above. That was like 5 minutes after I opened the package. --Does anyone know the proper thing to do next when this happens? (you get sent the wrong item from very far away). Any advise is appreciated. thanks.

Once I'd calmed down sufficiently, I'd assume a reasonable tone and zip off an e-mail informing the seller of the mistake. Who knows? Maybe the seller will be cooperative, apologetic, and eager to remedy the situation.

It sometimes happens. Just contact the seller and ask him to send you the right game and enough postage so you can send him back the other game. Oh and don't mention giving negative feedback. that's against e-bay rules and they won't help you if they find out.
If the guy doesn't have or won't give you the right game, you can contact e-bay and report fraud. (That is if the title says Sampras96 or the description ) or if there isn't a disclaimer saying pictures is not of actual item.
you can also use Square Trade and they will help out.
