My Gaming Collection (Now at Google Drive!)
I think Shinobi series, Ninja gaiden series and i hate "Legend of the Mystical ninja" series...well, i canīt remember now
Tenchu: Stealth assasins. The first part, the second one wasn't very good.
Ninja Gaiden 1-3, Shinobi 3, Goemon, Ninja Spirit, Kaze Kiri Ninja, Mario 3 (Luigi's a ninja!)
There was a REALLY cool C64 one as well, but I can't remember the name of it. You jumped up into the ceiling and popped out on the next floor to fight more ninjas, and you fought all thru this big Japanese style house and into caves and back. Anyone remember it?

I would have to go with Ninja Golf, myself.
ninja gaiden.
Bruce Lee! (C64 & 8-Bit)
Although the Ninja wasn't directly controllable by the player, it still has to be one of the best Ninja games out there. I loved controlling that Green guy and doing that moan/call/grunt. What a game!
1. Legend of Kage
2. Ninja Golf
3. The awesome famicom ninja game with the stubby little ninjas that fight up several levels of a mountain side.
Ninja Gaiden and several others get honorable mention - I love ninja games!

Why Shinobi of course. The Ninja Gaiden series was always a favorite too.
@maxlords- it was called simply "Ninja" - a Mastertronic 5 1/4" C64/Atari 8-bit flippy. Pretty easy to beat as you can enter/exit any room until the # of enemies in there was to your liking. You could do it w/ weapons too to get the lethal "3-star combo". Plus the music was the coolest I'd ever heard in a game at that time.
It got totally panned by critics/gamers alike, but "NINJA: Shadow of Darkness" by Eidos for PSX wasn't so bad. It helped that I used a walkthrough for the whole game!
"The big things that...nerds like to argue about might not actually matter that much."
I liked Litte Ninja Brothers on the NES.
Ninja Golf was pretty awsome too.
I am in fact the guy that made the Raisins prototype worth thousands less by dumping it. "D'oh!!"
I, Garland, shall knock you all down!
God I loved that game...and I wouldn't call it TOO easy....still they catch you off guard occasionally! I'd love to play that one again!Originally Posted by RJ

Easily the Ninja Gaiden trilogy for the NES.
Fast gameplay, tight control, great story & cinema screens, cool bosses & weapons.
On a side note: Was anyone else dissapointed with Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for the SNES? IMO the graphics actually looked WORSE than the 8-bit version.
For example: In NG2, the beggining of the 2nd stage was pitch black, but on occasion, lighting would flash and briefly light up the screen, enabling you to see where you were going. The SNES version just had the stage lit the whole time, with no lighting. Lame if you ask me. Just a thought.
