    Default Beach Spikers Advice

    I can't believe I'm actually asking for help on a video game, but here goes:

    The tutorial mode in Beach Spikers is STUPID hard, but I've managed to comlete all the drills except for Attack Drill 5, the one where you have to make five successful attacks in a row. So far, the pattern I've found is this;

    1st attack: Any spike of greater than 75% power will hit from the starting position.

    2nd attack: Same as above.

    3rd attack: A short feint (b button) will always hit from the starting position.

    Now, the next two are fuzzy. On the 4th attack, I can get a one touch (A+B) to hit maybe 33% of the time, and I've never been able to be successful on the fifth attack, as they always seem to be able to get at least one touch in before it hits. Anyone have any suggestions for this? i want to get the rest of the uniforms etc unlocked.

    Hah, I had / have the same problem. (I also failed to complete Blocking 5, but admittedly gave up after a short while.)

    Anyway, I asked this same question at GameFAQs and was simply told to use a full power A button spike on the final round. If you're lucky, the reply said, it'll get past the opposing team and win the point. I'm pretty skeptical, but have not tried it myself yet.

    FWIW, here are my strategies for Attacking 5:

    1: Max% A
    2: 0% B
    3: 0% B
    4: Max% A+B (only works sometimes)
    5: ???

    Want to know an easy way to get past the blocking tutorial, BenT? Run behind your teamate as soon as the round starts, and she'll block it for you. I did the hard way, and then discovered that later.

    Heh, nice! I'll give it a shot next time I play. Thanks for the tip.

    just tried attack five again, and passed it by using a full power spike on the last attack. Every other time I tried that it failed :/ . Oh well, at least I'm done with them now.

    Congrats. Hopefully I'll join you in the Official Attack 5 Beaters Club soon.

    I'm guessing the unlocked outfits that result aren't that spectacular. :)
