They should make it compatible with the original VCS Dancemat. Exus Video Jogger/Reflex.

Very excellent! Can't wait to see more of this! The basics of DDR (the arrows pointing which direction to press/stomp does lend itself to the 2600's limitations well.

...but half the fun of DDR is the music....it's going to be awful on a system of this calibre....what in the hell are they thinking?

that would be sweet if an NES fanboy site made a ddr for NES, and got original NES songs for the music, balloon fight, zelda, mario...ah...

@Salesman...I think that will be some of the charm of this version is the silly music...but with the Synthcart...and some of the wizards in Atari programming working on this...I'll put money on there being at least one decent sounding song on there...

Pitfall 2 didn't have any problem with decent music, although if the wizard tries to make a DDR with full aniimated screen, there wouldn't be much processing power left to deal with the sound.

It's probably easier to whip up DDR for NES but 2600 has challenge where NES would be too easy.

The music in Marble Craze proves that the 2600 can do decent sounding music. This should be an entertaining sight to see.
