Default Need help identifying AC plug-

I was organizing my controllers and found an AC plug that I at first thought might be for the Nintendo. Roughly the same size, the jack even fits where it plugs into the console. Here are the specs though:

    Recoton brand,
    AC/AC adaptor
    Model: V479
    Cat. No: AW-12A-1.25BA
    Input:120V 60Hz 22VA
    Output: 12VAC 1.3A

No markings to indicate polarity oddly enough, I could check it with a multimeter later but was hoping someone could shed some immediate light on this. Searched google and came up with nothing informative. Possibly a third-party TG-16 power plug??

Well, I doubt it's NES, the nes adapter outputs 9VAC 1.3A

Not TG-16 either, that was 10.5. Possibly a TG-16/CD combo replacement? It calls for 11.5 1500mA, but I think the replacement I bought a few months back was 12V 1300mA.
