Hey I am glad my tip helped out a fellow gamerI haven't heard back from my contact in Japan but hopefully I will get myself a copy. Do you have a NES and a converter to try the game on? It still looks fairly playable with or without english menus.

Scored myself a copy of Bards Tale 2 . My friend brought it back from Japan a few weeks ago. I couldn't find any english menus though :/ I miss the automap from the first Bards Tale.
